Our Employment Support service has been running for over a year now, supported by funding from Aberdeen Harbour Board.
We started this service because many people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASCs) would like to work, but may need help to get past perceived or actual barriers.

We’ve now supported nearly 20 people to complete CVs, prepare for interviews, increase their understanding of ASCs, and gain employment.

Here are a few quotes from them:

“Very friendly atmosphere”

“I felt welcomed and relaxed from the first session”

“My advisor is knowledgeable and helpful”

“Thank you for all of your help”

One of our service users, Robin, was delighted when he was taken on as a paid employee at CFINE, where he had been volunteering. The photo shows him ready for the start of a working day.
